Observation details

Continuing rarities in this vicinity. White geese considerably smaller than nearby Canada Geese. Small grayish-red bill (with no ‘grin patch), rounded head, short neck. ID photo. At the time they were easy to observe feeding in a harvested corn field with Canada Geese alongside Lake Wheeler Road at this location.
