Observation details
Godwits, all seen feeding and resting among masses of Marbled Godwits. All three lacked cinnamon/buffy tones overall, showing only hints of "cool" brown, without any warm tones. They were pale-bellied and smooth, without any barring/markings below. Faces lacked the orange colors, and showed the pale-faced look with a thin, dark eyestripe and dark crown. Feathers throughout the folded wings were single toned, not showing any barring per feather. Folded wings were shades of gray (some feathers light and some darker), lacking buffy tones all. Bills were two-toned, being pink on the inner half and black on the outer half; noting the colored portion of the bill was drabber than the vibrant Marbled Murrelets' partially pink bills.
