Observation details

Two or three first summer type birds among them. Seemed to be feeding heavily on sand lance today. Very seldom seen plunge diving, instead largely employing an Arctic tern-esque pluck/dip feeding method; perhaps a sign that they are feeding above bluefish or some sort of toothy scombroid
