Mostly Lesser Scaup in a large raft of waterfowl on Lake Frederick (Frederick County, VA) on 5 December 2025.
Observation details
Almost all in a large raft of mixed waterfowl. The scaup made up the vast majority of the raft. Pretty much an exact count. I've included a photograph that covers about 2/3rds of the raft.
