Observation details

Apparently a solitary individual. Traces of pale orange-buff breeding plumage in head, face and middle of lower back but not full breeding plumage as one can see in this species. Bill pale orange. See photos. Possibly the same individual was present last week (checklist S287331824), and is likely to be a remnant of an original eight birds that were present in this area from at least mid-September through to late October (with four being seen and photographed on 21 November --- see checklist S285716409, with photos). The bird's presence, in breeding plumage, at this time of year still does not imply that this bird may be beeding. No evidence for that.
