Aberrant female Mallard circled, half green head, dark body, and female bill with typical male Mallard.
Observation details
Exact count. Observed one "odd looking male" superficially appearing to be a MALL hybrid, but is actually a hormonally challenged female evidenced by her typical orange and black female MALL bill (not a yellow-green male bill). Previously observed another such female MALL very much like this one years ago at Kasilof River.
