Observation details

Sweet! All time high count for Humboldt county? Was really hoping I might run into one of these but I didn't expect to find one, much less to three! Had a male vocalizing repeatedly that was clearly on territory and the other two were females (or young birds? both had no white in the tail) that flushed off the road. The heavy wind probably kept me from hearing everything so there could be more present. The male was at (40.599192,-123.550264) and is likely chaseable given it was on territory. A good bird to chase, especially if you don't want to do the hike to waterdog lake. The two females were at (40.632281,-123.573848) and (40.653084,-123.587184).
