Observation details

male continuing. Huge milestone for me! I have gotten at least 1 WESO every single month of 2025 in the greater Bellevue area, with lots of them being in my and my friends’ backyards (huge shoutout to friends letting me visit them this entire year). Unfortunately, none of the ones I observed were breeding this past year. However, I did observe 2 pairs in suitable breeding habitats yet been taken over by BAROs. I am super grateful these birds are still quite common in small pocket of areas in the city. **Note: all the locations I have listed for the WESOs are general, with most being private properties that you cannot access to observe the bird. Please do not attempt to enter locations of my checklists hoping to catch a glimpse of the birds.** Thank you!!
