Observation details

Appeared as I started the walk. Very dark morph buteo apparent with typical RTHA wing shape. Soared thru the vicinity heading southish. Briefly it and a light RT made passes at each other after which it disappeared. Photos show under body and wing coverts to be black and extensively mottled with white; primaries are barred to the tips; dark terminal tail band. No rufous color. Lack of trailing edge wing band is c/w juvenile.
