Observation details

Seen at west edge of the Porto Bodega RV Park close to the water. Initially saw fly down from flowering ornamental bush( sp) on to ground a chill briefly with the blackbird cousins. Then perched in a Wax Myrtle in sun and ate a caterpillar. Observed for 10 minutes. Gray back, pale belly, bright (burnt orange) and chest, dark " teeth in white wing bar. Orange supercilium and faint black eyeline. Black lores. Black chin. Bright head, crown brownish / orange. head not dirty brown as expected with a Baltimore Oriole which was eliminated with all the field marks checking for a first year male Bullock's Oriole. Photos.
