Observation details

Continuing excellent bird found by Tony Briggs on December 3. Associating with fairly large mixed blackbird flock on edge of water in Porto Bodega Marina Parking lot close to New Sea Angler (west side of marina). Found about 8:45 am. Mookie Fudemberg and Denise Herzberg there as well. Slightly smaller than other blackbird specie in flock, short- tailed, fairly thin, slight decurved black bill. Distinctive pale supercilium and rusty crown and face. Piercing yellow eye. Dark lores. Gray rump. pale gray throat, Scaley rust/ brown back and rust/ brown in wings. Stellar bird. Photos.
