Observation details
***completely ridiculous. The brown booby vortex that exists around Newark Bay, the Arthur Kill, and the South Reach is well known at this point - but four?? And for three of them to be bright white-bellied adults is impossible for me to wrap my mind around. We stuck around for a while hoping one of them would get up and fly around, and sure enough, after we noticed one of the adults suddenly missing, it turned up along the I-78 bridge to our north where we watched it wheel around and hunt for a several minutes before returning to the booby platform.
