Observation details
Closer views of the goose were seen although we had to approach very slowly as it was clearly nervous . It was probably a new arrival and was unsure of its surroundings . We couldn't be certain of the definitive ID characteristics as distance kept us guessing but we're sure it was a Snow goose in the end as the size and bill shape precluded a Ross's Goose ID.
