Observation details
An adult Red-tailed Hawk (1st photo) was sighted on a house rooftop in a very unusual situation. A Common Raven was standing nearby (3rd photo) and then approached the hawk (2nd photo). One speculation is that the hawk had prey it had caught, and the raven was trying to steal it. After about a minute, the Red-tailed Hawk flew off.
