heron is preening while perched on a limb that extends over the pond
Observation details
both were first seen perched in the upper half of a tree close to the older animal shelter building and then again in a tree closer to the center of the path at the west end of the pond but with 1 bird on a long, horizontal limb out over the water and the 2nd in the top half of the same tree
