Observation details

Only the third documented individual GKIS in eBird for Kerr County. First December record. Please see unmistakable ID from photos. Continuing. This bird is probably the same bird first found by Lila Lewis on November 5, 2025, in the same area. Today, first heard at 2:48 p.m. Heard many times thereafter. First seen and photographed at 3:47 p.m., in Wetlands #2, as I prepared to leave HOH. Bird posed well after that until time was up. Please see images and listen to audio.
