Observation details

Continuing. Immature male. First appeared at 10:29 am and returned three more times at roughly 20-minute intervals. Generally feeding in the Salvia blossoms along the white fence. On at least one occasion, the bird flew into a nearby Holly tree festooned with red berries. Many thanks to Jim Stasz for first reporting this rarity on Nov 30, and then warmly welcoming birders to observe the BCHU in his wonderful garden. Photos TBA.
