Observation details
This group came right up to me, almost like they were begging for me to give them food. Later got scared off by some kind of raptor. I had a view of the raptor for a millisecond but hovered off into the pine. Take your pick on any medium sized gray colored raptor which likes to hunt in open areas next to a forest like this one.
