Observation details

Seen across the street from the park proper. Flew up into a small tree here: 33.792094, -117.769937, in response to my pishing. There is a home near here with bird feeders, with lots of sparrows and finches flying about. I pished to see what might be around, and a WTSP popped up from the ground! It was seen very well, although would not cooperate with my attempts to obtain iPhone photos of it. However, I have uploaded a recording of its chip calls, which you can hear in response to my pishing. Description: Fairly large sparrow with black and white striped crown, yellow on the lores, and bold white throat. Got great looks at it, pretty unmistakable.
