Observation details

As the early morning fog lifted, seen by Jeff Boyd along the brush and bushes east of the bike path north of Willow and almost directly below the bike-path bench. It was seen two more times very briefly and I managed two poor photos of the bird as it ducked back into the brush. Later quite a few birders arrived and we had trouble relocating the bird, but I understand that later in the day it was well seen and photographed. Description: Short-tailed warbler with brownish-olive upperparts, no wing bars, underparts white with extensive black streaking, strong white eye-ring, thin orange stripe down the center of crown bordered by two dark stripes.
