Observation details

Relocated this morning by Cat Abbott. Seen at 2:19 p.m. along the northern edge and very near the northeast corner of the field. We followed it all the way around the NE corner. Actively feeding the entire time we observed it. We also saw it on the edge of the field in front of the bank below the white house where Coleen Lawlor first found it. We watched it for 22 minutes. An adult bird showing an all black bill and whitish feather edges. Light rufous belly and undertail coverts. Darkish cap. All black tail above and below. Gray breast, sides of neck, nape and upperparts. Dark eye and seen pumping tail several times. I also heard it call three times. (JM)
