Observation details

Received a report of a large black bird with a long and skinny beak. Audio and photos attached. It was hanging out on the partially frozen creek, flying off when we surprised it and returning to the same spot. **EDIT: After being contacted by a reviewer, I am changing my original observation from WFIB to GLIB/WFIB. I acknowledge the two species are tough to tell apart this time of year, and do not possess the audio ID skills to make a determination on species based on the sound recording I got. Leaving it as a slash seems wise, as a hybrid also could not be ruled out. Oh well — maybe a definitive WFIB will show in my home county.**
