Feeding on a snail along the edge of the Scituate Marsh.
Observation details
***MEGA*** First state record bird found by Jessica Maguire 11/30. I watched it feeding on snails on the edge of the Scituate marsh behind 56 Moorland Road. Access to the marsh was via the Spit boardwalk access point next to 81 Collier St, then turning right and walking along the edge of the marsh for about 300 yards. The footing was just a bit wet at low tide, but it would probably be much wetter at high tide. Lifer!
