Observation details

One showing more orange/brighter yellow in bill (with good lighting) than other black ducks but no black spot at base of bill...strong black eye stripe, especially lores and crown, a dark bird. Looks like an American Black Duck save perhaps the bill. The other has a bit of a spot at base of bill with lighter head and less streaking on neck with lighter crown and eye stripe. 1st photo shows perhaps lighter hybrid with Black Duck on right ( the documented Male and female AMBD are out of the photo to the left). Photos 2 and 3 show brighter billed possible hybrid with AMBD on right side.
