Observation details

CONTINUING. These voucher photos of the immature Brown Pelican were captured at the South Pier of Presque Isle Bay in Erie, PA, by Patrick Bell, a local wildlife photographer. Patrick stated that he found the bird between snow showers, hiding amongst a sea of resting Herring, Ring-billed, and Great Black-backed Gulls, in 30 degree weather and 30-40 mph winds.
