Observation details
Seen at approximately 33°42′12″ N 118°0′18″ W, high in oak tree, then flitted over to a juniper type tree & quickly disappeared. Black head, bold orange markings on side of breast & tail; vocalized metallic chip. ID photos; between the two you can see most of the bird. A hearty thanks to Juliet who was standing nearby and alerted me that she had spotted the AMRE.
