Observation details

Beautiful golden cheeks with the same color on the shoulders. Dark black primaries, secondaries a dark chocolate brown that fades into reddish brown. Gray streaky back and shoulders. Bright orange bill. It sticks to the grass when people walk by but really doesn’t seem to mind them. It will flush when dogs pass but circled back to its preferred patch of foliage. Almost waddles when walking on the ground.
