Observation details
Three large, white/pale gray terns in flight over the ponds, seen several times. Witnessed one plunging headlong into the water. Raspy-barking calls heard. With black cap, orange-red bill with dark tip. Photos show wings with dark finger tips, and slightly forked tail.
