Observation details
Several potential Kings were heard; one potential king/cling seen in addition to several clappers. Marsh vegetation is more fresh than around the battleship area; where kings have not been documented for many years. Many calling “kings” in the battleship area turn out be clappers when seen or photographed. Kings used to regular at the battleship, but saltwater intrusion over the past 20 years favors clappers.
