Observation details
Continuing in the bottlebrush at 248 Hawthorne Street. A particularly aggressive Yellow-rumped Warbler chased it around the tree and sometimes out of the tree, but the TEWA would eventually return. First seen and photographed by Mark Chappell on 11/24. This bird was yellow green above with a yellow eye line. The throat was white with patches of yellow on the sides of the throat and breast. The underparts were a clean white all the way to the white undertail coverts. The TEWA seen and photographed in October appears to be a darker bird with smudgier underparts.
