Observation details
Continuing at this location. Found immediately upon arrival at the first signed parking area along the gamelands road, openly feeding in the gravel at close range (Note: this is not the more regularly encountered location at the maintenance shed). Non-breeding plumage; brownish with significant white in the wings, tail, and head. Rusty cap, ear patch, and necklace. Significantly larger than the juncos. Photos
