Observation details

The bird a large group of people were gathered to see! Seen upon arrival perched on the wires on the pump house side of the park. It was also seen in the same tree as the western tanager (near the bathroom) eating insects from a spider web. Comparison views later in the morning as it was in a cypress (?) tree with a western kingbird. Straight dark tail, darker chest and breast area than western. Lighter area under throat. Yellow on belly less bright. Also had a large bill. Scope views shared by another birder. Thank you.
