Observation details
One male with two females. All were banded. The photos show the leg bands clearly on both females, but the male’s bands were a bit harder to see. At 10:59 a.m., all three birds flew to the top of a conifer and then headed west. I wasn’t sure at the time whether they’d left the park or just moved to another area. A little later, Daniel D also reported finding 3 WEBB on Observatory Hill. From the leg bands we have confirmed these are the same birds. So far it appears that it took the birds 15-20 minutes to fly from Royal oak burial park to Observatory hill. Pretty incredible!!!!!
