Observation details
Continuing. Meadowlark with four white outer retrices, with a slight bit of dark near the tip of r3 (which was otherwise all white). Dark contrasty eye stripe and cap, yellow lores, pale whitish malar. As expected, this was a difficult bird. After we spent hours walking several fields, at about 2:30pm [pacific time] it flushed up and landed near 32.760677, -114.537726 (in a field south of where it had been previously seen by others), and eventually flew all the way across the field to 32.760767, -114.534690. We found it again, and it flew to about 32.763022, -114.536975 (one field to the north) and then landed somewhere around 32.763284, -114.538306 (in a dirt area with trees, where multiple WEME were hanging out) and we didn't see it again.
