Observation details
Presume same individual from nine days ago (Nov 16th) given that he is in same stretch of shoreline cattails, singing in a similar manner. Had a decent look at the bird this time; small size, rusty color and prominent white supercilium noted. Constantly flitting within the cattails that lie between the shoreline and open water while singing. The song consists of a sequence of twitters, rapid CHIT series, and incomplete trills. The phrasing is highly variable and disorganized with no gurgling trills typical of the breeding song.
