Recording of 5 BCCH who suddenly stopped feeding at a feeder. No hawk was observed.
Observation details
BCCH were at the newly replenished feeders and were very active, coming and going from the feeder area. Then, suddenly, no birds, BCCH or WBNU, came to the feeders. The BCCH gave several series of thin, high pitched notes which were recorded. They returned to the feeders in a few minutes. No hawk or NSHR was noted in the immediate area.
