Observation details
Non-breeding adult. Observed through scope extensively and later reviewed from photographs. Field marks cf. GTT also present include slightly darker even grey upper plumage with smudgy grey markings extending well down on to flanks below folded wing, reduced narrow supercilium not extending beyond eye, primary projection beyond tail when at rest, long nasal groove on bill.
