Observation details

*high count, 1x1 of foraging bbwo along indian creek rd. m, ho, m, m, m, ho, m, m, f, f, m, f highest density of bbwo i’ve seen. i’ve been interested in visiting this area since the fires went through this summer and it did not disappoint. initially almost all of the bbwos were male, and I didn’t notice any females until there were 3 around the intersection of indian and hypo creek rd which was interesting. most of the bbwo were non vocal and all actively foraging by flaking. I’m excited to come back this winter to this area and see how many are around! Photos
