Observation details

Actively feeding in date palms and on the edge of the golf course. Stand with the solar farm to your back, and face north at the closest palm trees. The bird calls frequently I wanted to include GPS coordinates, but that function, along with everything else on my cell phone was not working out here, today. Cell phone reception was horrible out here and throughout the national park. I suspect it was because there were too many people, and they were using up all of the bandwidth. Ironically, the other thing that should be behind you while you are looking at the palms for the woodpecker is the gigantic cell phone tower that was a no use whatsoever.
