Observation details
New high count for the park. I saw a/the M (columbarius) in its usual spot in the sycamore behind home plate, then I saw a Merlin distantly perched inside the gc shortly thereafter. I fast walked back to the first one to find it still perched there, then I fast walked back to the second to find it hadn't moved as well. Very cool to have two here! Comparing photos also shows two distinct individuals - with the second one having apparent thinner streaking on its underparts (so maybe a 1st yr?). Need to research Merlins more. Photos.
