Observation details
While in the eastern part of the park (Bosque Loop), I counted many large flyover flocks of CHRA by 5s and 10s, which at points turned into a constant stream. I found it interesting that these flocks seemed to be 100% CHRA (no AMCR calls coming from the bunch, all looked uniform, soaring rather than flapping). There were very few AMCR by comparison at first until I went over to the central part of the park (Rio Loop). The CHRA flocks were not flying in the same direction as the AMCR flocks and had disappeared by the time I was seeing the massive AMCR numbers at sunset. The CHRA were headed west/southwest.
