Observation details
Nice, mostly uniform yellow-green. White by the legs. Darker wings, but no real wing bars (a bit of white). Hanging out in the mixed-species flock, I last saw it here (40.010873, -105.271504) EDIT (11/28/25). I knew there was something off about this bird. I kept thinking it was such a weird OCWA with how vibrant it was. I'd briefly considered TEWA when I saw it because it just didn't seem 100% like an OCWA, but I disregarded that based on previous reports (go with your gut people!). The eye-stripe, white UTC and belly, not just by the legs, plus the darker wings is better for TEWA. I feel a bit silly now, but thank you to everyone who reported it as a TEWA today (Kristy, Kevin, John, and Henry)! I'll comb through photos and make sure both aren't actually present. It's also probably worth checking back the previous records of this bird from earlier in the month. Hopefully sticks around for y'alls CBC.
