Observation details
Continuing. Initially spotted at the seal haul out around 1:30 pm while the tide was in, where it was loafing with SEPL, allowing for good comparisons. Dark area around lores thicker and noticably less pinched looking than SEPL, and extends back in a straighter line. Ever so slightly larger in size than SEPL. Very slight difference in leg color showed well in good light as well. Re-found around 3:30 by Mark Chappell on the mudflats just west of the bridge as the tide was going out, which allowed for closer looks at the toes which seemed to lack visible webbing.
