Media notes

Note how the closer Towhee sings 2 different songs (both start out the same, but the ending trill is different) and at one point it alternates the songs. I rarely find this in Towhees. They usually sing just one song for a while , then switch to the 2nd one. I don't think I have ever heard a Towhee sing 3 different songs.

Observation details

I captured both on audio, the main bird was singing 2 different songs, sometimes alternating them, from the NW mid-woods. The 2nd Towhee was nearby in the orchard.
