Observation details
Small, olive backed bird, feeding in alder catkins near the water. White spectacles, white throat, blue/gray head, 2 white wing bars. Late date. My latest date ever for this species. Many small mosquito like insects floated by me when I took a break, so still good food supply. See attached photos.
