Observation details

First view of a large yellow bellied flycatcher, thought WEKI or ATFL. Closer looks and photos revealed white-tipped tail, sharply delineated white chin not extending beyond the eye, pale outer rectrices, yellow belly and grayish chest. Consultation and photo sharing with knowledgeable birders confirmed CAKI identification. If accepted by Avian Records Committee, a first state record. Photos.
