Observation details

Seen on back trail at about 33.654444, -117.836389 foraging on the ground with a mixed flock of sparrows. The flock foraged both sides of the trail and 25m east and/or west of coordinates. White striped variety with black crown divided by central white stripe, bright yellow above the eyes, gray auriculars, white throat with faint & somewhat messy black border, gray breast w/ faint darker streaks, and light brown wash on flanks. Back and wings very similar in color and pattern to WCSP, brown with dark brown streaks, 2 thin white wingbars. Photos.
