Observation details
Similar to ABDU, but large white patches on wings. These patches were at times visible while the birds were swimming, like a gadwall. Bill looked like hen mallard, orange with black splotches. Clear color difference between neck and body like ABDU. Weird birds. Flew off strongly and were high flying away to the east last I saw them.
