Observation details

Guess my brain on 1 hour of sleep can still be trusted (a little). Called two mergansers on the water Red-breasted's, then retroactively changed them to Common upon seeing they were rare. Being scopeless and sleep-deprived, I didn't trust my gut on my ID of RBME, but upon seeing the reports now of 2 RBME's at the dam, I am adding them back on my list. Diffuse neck border, spiky crest, thin red bill.
