Media notes

doublet & triplet call series at 1:15-1:16, 1:18, & 1:20-1:21 were thought to be Redpoll, but not accepted as such so maybe AMGO

Observation details

this recording was changed from AMGO to Redpoll and now to passerine sp after seeing Tobin B.'s report with recording several days later of calls Merlin had suggested Redpoll for (similar to calls at 1:15-1:16, 1:18, & 1:20-1:21 on this spectrogram that Merlin suggested Redpoll for) but he received "mixed opinions" on whether Merlin was correct about these "Redpoll" calls, and we don't know diddlysquat about Redpolls and were basing our determination on visual comparisons of AMGO and Redpoll spectrograms, so we'll fall in line and retract our Redpoll claim interestingly, Matt Young's examples in "A Finch Flight Call Audio Primer: Part 1" does NOT list AMGO as a similar species to Redpoll for flight calls, and his Redpoll spectrogram sure does look closer to ours and Tobin's than his AMGO spectrogram so we're not convinced this is AMGO calls
